From the first cup poured to the final delivery down the hall, the Brighter Day Coffee Cafe at Milton L. Olive Middle School is doing much more than serving coffee.

Second-grade classes at Wyandanch’s Lafrancis Hardiman Elementary School continued a successful partnership with the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville.

Rosalina Brown has been appointed as the Wyandanch School District’s director of special education, effective Jan. 26.

At the district’s Jan. 21 Board of Education meeting, the community was given a detailed presentation by Milton L. Olive Middle School Principal Dr. Michelle Darby.

Wyandanch Memorial High School marked a historic milestone on Dec. 19 with the unveiling of its new Athletics Wall of Fame, a permanent digital display.
