Good evening Wyandanch families,

I am grateful for the strong turnout last evening. I am pleased to share that the school budget passed with an 88% majority. For those members of our community who voted against the budget, I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and work together to move our district forward and further improve student achievement. Together, we are #OneWyandanch.

I would also like to congratulate our newly elected Board of Education Trustees, Mr. Brian Cole and Mrs. Cindy Paschall. I look forward to getting to know you both and to building a strong partnership dedicated to improving outcomes for our students.

To all of the candidates who ran, thank you for your willingness to serve and for your commitment to our community. I hope you will continue to find meaningful ways to contribute to the progress of our district.

Lastly, I extend my sincere gratitude to our outgoing board members, President Latesha Walker and Trustee Jarod Morris, for their six years of dedicated service. It has been an honor to work alongside you this past year, and your contributions will be greatly missed.
