Wyandanch Barbering Program Welcomes Lindenhurst CTE Educators

Wyandanch Memorial High School recently welcomed a team of educators from the Lindenhurst School District for a visit to its barbering program, facilitated by Dr. Michelle Kwon, Wyandanch’s assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. The group, which included Lindenhurst administrators and cosmetology and CTE staff, toured the program as they explore developing a barbering offering of their own.

The visit also provided an opportunity for educators from both districts to exchange ideas and learn from one another’s career and technical education programs. The collaborative meeting highlighted a shared commitment to expanding hands-on learning opportunities and preparing students for careers in the beauty industry.
