The Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting on July 1 at Lafrancis Hardiman Elementary School, electing Shirley Baker – who served as vice president last year – as the Board’s new president. Trustee Shameka Brown was elected as the new vice president. Both officers were sworn in by the district’s attorney, Rachel Roth, as were new Board trustees Brian Cole and Cindy Paschall.
