Wyandanch Memorial High School celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 during its Senior Scholarship Awards Night on June 11. More than 60 awards and scholarships were presented to deserving seniors in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, service and contributions to the school community.

Speakers for the evening included Acting Principal Noel Rios, senior school counselor Tiffany Kee and Superintendent Dr. Erik Wright.

“It is amazing to see how you all persevered throughout this year and over the previous years to get to where you’re going,” Dr. Wright said. “From the bottom of my heart, I wish all of you nothing but success as you move on to the next stage of your career and life. I hope that you all come back over the years to give back to the community. We need you. That’s what civic engagement is about, and I see that you have what it takes. Congratulations, and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.”
