Lafrancis Hardiman Elementary School proudly celebrated the 16th annual P.S. I Love You Day last month, joining communities nationwide in turning the world purple in support of kindness and mental health awareness. Organized by literacy specialist Kelly Battista, the schoolwide initiative encouraged students and staff to wear purple and share messages of encouragement. Students wrote kind notes that were linked together to form a paper chain stretching throughout the building, a visible reminder of compassion and connection.
