Wyandanch top 10 seniors celebrated

Wyandanch Memorial High School proudly honored its top 10 seniors with a celebratory breakfast recognizing their outstanding academic achievements on April 11. Each of the seniors were invited to bring a guest and the room was filled with joy as the top 10 were commended by close friends and proud family members.
The event was hosted by senior class advisers Jill Anselmi and Nicole Sladky who presented each of the students with a plaque of recognition for their dedication to academic excellence.
“We are so proud and excited to recognize the top 10,” said Anselmi. “You have worked so hard throughout your high school journey and this recognition is well-deserved.”
High School Principal Paul Sibblies, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative and Instructional Accountability Dr. Christine Jordan and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction Dr. Michelle Kwon and other district administrators were also present to honor the students.
“This celebration is a testament to the hard work, perseverance and excellence of our top 10 seniors,” said Principal Paul Sibblies. “We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the future.”
This was the first time the high school has hosted a celebratory breakfast for the top 10 seniors, and the district hopes it becomes a tradition to support and highlight the academic excellence of the students.
