Wyandanch Union Free School District

Wyandanch Memorial High School students, Hector Ato Chinchay  and Kimberlyn Herandez Chicas were selected to join forty-three other students in Nassau and Suffolk counties that will make up the Long Island delegation at the 2025 Statewide Angelo del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute. Students will participate in a Mock Assembly debating NYS Proposed Bills at the New York State Capital. Students will be representing Assemblyman Kwani O'Pharrow  of District 11 and Assemblywoman Rebecca Kassay of District 4.
