What is Title IX?

Title IX is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or education program that receives federal funding. This includes:

  • Sexual harassment or assault
  • Gender-based discrimination
  • Unequal access to educational opportunities
  • Retaliation for reporting Title IX violations

How to File a Complaint

If you believe you or someone else has experienced discrimination or harassment based on sex, you can file a complaint by:

  1. Contacting the Title IX Coordinator directly.
  2. Submitting a written complaint via email or in person.
  3. Using the district’s online reporting form.

All complaints are handled confidentially and in accordance with district policy and federal law.
