The scholars at Milton L. Olive Middle School were visited by local professionals during their annual career day. The event featured a diverse lineup of guest speakers, including police officers, town councilmen, representatives of the JROTC, and more.
Acting Principal Stanley Pelech welcomed guests to the school expressing the impact of this event, “Our annual career day is such an important event for our scholars,” said, Mr. Pelech. “By donating your time, highlighting your careers and identifying different paths of learning, you are inspiring our scholars to achieve their academic goals in order to pursue their passions.”
Throughout the day, students engaged with professionals, asked questions, viewed photographs of their workspaces and learned the educational requirements for certain careers.
As career day concluded students gained valuable guidance and learned the importance of education, hard work, and perseverance.
